Job Description
- Execute non-destructive testing (NDT) of various methods on site, including but not limited to ultrasonic testing (UT), radiographic testing (RT), magnetic particle testing (MT), penetrant testing (PT) and eddy current testing (ET) to ensure the integrity and safety of structures and equipment.
- Develop testing procedures (WPS), work instructions, and test reports based on international standards (such as ASME, ASTM, ISO, EN, and CNS) and customer specifications, and ensure the compliance and traceability of the documents.
- Operate and calibrate NDT-related instruments and equipment, regularly perform equipment maintenance, functional verification and calibration records, and maintain measurement accuracy and instrument reliability.
- Conduct professional interpretation and evaluation of test results, identify defect types, size and location, determine compliance with standards, and provide preliminary technical advice.
- According to project progress, participate in site inspections, in-service equipment regular inspections or process intermediate inspections, and coordinate testing schedule and work interface with engineering, quality assurance and construction units.
- Have at least 2 years of practical NDT field testing experience, familiar with the operation and application scenarios of at least two mainstream NDT methods.
- Holding an effective NDT qualification certificate issued by an internationally recognized organization (such as PCN, ASNT Level II or CNS/ISO 9712), and the certificate project must cover the testing method to be performed.
- Able to independently read and understand Chinese and English technical drawings, specifications, and testing standards, with basic engineering drawing interpretation skills and numerical analysis concepts.
- Have good communication and coordination skills and sense of responsibility, be able to stable execute detection tasks under high pressure, high altitude, closed space or outdoor variable environment, and follow safety and hygiene work operation procedures.
- Proficient in using common office software (Word, Excel) to create testing records and reports, with basic computer operating skills and data sorting logic.
