Job Description
This role centers on reinsurance administration, combining data modelling, process automation, and settlement operations. It involves handling large datasets, performing analysis and reconciliations, and improving workflows through coding and data tools. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing both technical and operational responsibilities to deliver accurate and efficient results.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain reinsurance (RI) settlement data, statements, and listing files across various reinsurance arrangements
Design, develop, and enhance process automation tools, recurring workflows, and reports using Excel, VBA, SQL, or other data solutions
Investigate and resolve settlement-related discrepancies by working closely with external reinsurers and internal stakeholders
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of RI records
Provide ad hoc operational support for reinsurance administration processes and reporting needs
Requirements
Experience in insurance, reinsurance operations, finance, or actuarial support is an advantage
Proficiency in coding or scripting for data analysis and automation (e.g., VBA, SQL, or similar tools)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data manipulation, reconciliation, and reporting
Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and process improvement capabilities
