Automotive Repair Technician Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for carrying out daily inspections and repairs on private cars and light-duty trucks, including fault diagnosis and elimination. Carry out regular maintenance services, such as oil changes and filter replacements. Use professional repair equipment to complete inspections on the engine, transmission, brake system, and other core components. Assist in handling special maintenance needs for customer vehicles and provide professional technical advice. Record the maintenance status of each vehicle and establish a complete maintenance file for future reference.

Requirements:

Punctuality! Need to have automotive repair-related field or equivalent practical experience. Familiar with the structure and principles of various automotive systems, able to independently diagnose and repair complex faults. Have good hand tool usage skills, familiar with professional repair equipment. Have a strong safety awareness, strictly abide by work procedures and safety standards. Be able to clearly explain the repair plan to the supervisor.

Preference will be given to those with a 2nd license
