Infinite Engineering

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a pivotal role in driving the company's operational excellence, strategic growth, and overall business performance. Reporting directly to the Director, the COO will oversee day-to-day operations, optimize internal processes, lead cross-functional teams and support business development initiatives. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong operational leadership experience, ideally in engineering, construction materials or related technical industries, to enhance efficiency, client relationship and market expansion in HK and regionally.

Provide overall leadership and management of daily operations, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals, mission and values of professionalism, focus and concentration.

Oversee project material procurement, logistics and cross-departmental coordination to optimize supply chain efficiency, minimize material waste, and enforce strict cost control for civil & structural projects.

Develop and implement operational strategies, policies and procedures to support business growth, including optimization of workflows, quality management (ISO standards) and risk mitigation.

Lead & mentor teams across engineering, project management and support functions, fostering collaboration, professional development and a high-performance culture.

Drive business development and client relationship management, particularly with government bodies, contractors and private clients in the construction and infrastructure sectors, identify new market opportunities in HK, the Greater Bay Area and internationally.

Monitor financial performance, budgets and key metrics in coordination with leadership to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.

Support strategic initiatives such as value engineering, innovative design solutions, decarbonization efforts and expansion into new service areas or regions.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards and industry best practices.

Represent the company in key industry engagements, negotiations and partnership.

Requirement & Qualifications :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, International Trade, Engineering or a related field.

Proven track record (5+ years) in senior operational or general management roles, preferably in engineering consultancy, new innovative and ECO-friendly construction materials, technology or industrial sectors.

Strong experience in strategic planning, team leadership, market development and cross-functional coordination.

Demonstrated success in optimizing operations, driving efficiency, and contributing to business growth in competitive environments.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships (experience with government, contractors and multi-industry clients is a plus).

Solid understanding of new innovative materials, with years of vendor-side operational and business management experience as a large-scale supplier in the construction and infrastructure sector.

Proficiency in English (business communication level); additional languages are advantageous.
