Operating out of 25 offices worldwide, Mirae Asset has a global team of more than 300+ investment professionals.<br><br>Mirae Asset’s global ETF platform features a line-up of more than 601 ETFs that offer investors high quality and cost-efficient exposure to newly emerging investment themes and disruptive technologies in the global markets.<br><br>Mirae Asset’s ETFs have combined assets under management of over US$137 billion (As of September 2024) and are listed in Australia, Canada, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, EU and the United States.</p> <p>As a subsidiary of the group, Mirae Asset Global Investments (HK) (https://www.am.miraeasset.com.hk/) is looking for an ambitious individual to join our team.</p> <p></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Work on task automation and reporting</p> </li> <li> <p>Daily ETL responsibilities with processes of combining data from multiple sources into a large and central repository</p> </li> <li> <p>Work in an application team to enhance and support in-house built application systems</p> </li> <li> <p>Checking that the data for all regulated information is properly updated and protected</p> </li> <li> <p>Business analysis to understand the operational needs of each team</p> </li> <li> <p>Act as a backup for our Web Developer on maintaining our websites</p> </li> <li> <p>Work diligently to ensure the business continuity of our data operations</p> </li> <li> <p>Ensure data is properly backed up</p> </li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Degree holder in Information Technology / Computer Science / Data Analytics / Data Science</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience in asset management industry is preferred</p> </li> <li> <p>At least 5 years of experience in programming, database management, or data management</p> </li> <li> <p>Well versed in Python, MS SQL, and RESTful API</p> </li> <li> <p>Good understanding of system documentation and familiar with SDLC</p> </li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Knowledge on the followings a strong plus:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>C#</p> </li> <li> <p>Amazon Web Services (AWS)</p> </li> <li> <p>Web Technologies like PHP, HTML, and CSS</p> </li> <li> <p>Proficiency in generating data visualizations</p> </li> <li> <p>Skills in AI and Machine Learning</p> </li> </ul>
