Position: Assistant Design Engineer - Civil/Structural

Job Responsibilities:

The Assistant Design Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design and development of civil and structural projects. Key responsibilities include:

Assisting in the preparation of detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software

Performing calculations and analyses related to structural components and systems

Collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met

Conducting site visits to assess conditions and verify measurements

Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Job Requirements:

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field

Proficiency in CAD software and familiarity with engineering design tools is essential

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail are required

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for team collaboration

Basic knowledge of building codes and standards relevant to civil/structural engineering is preferred
