BUSINESS FINANCE MANAGER

Position: Business Finance Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Finance Manager will act as the key financial custodian and commercial gatekeeper for our regional operations. This position demands a highly analytical and proactive individual who will transition our regional operations beyond routine bookkeeping to actively drive end-to-end controllership, rigorous project profitability management, business process optimization, and corporate data security. The successful candidate will lead commercial finance strategies that fully align with our overarching growth metrics and long-term business goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Financial Accounting & P&L Management: Take full ownership of regional profit and loss (P&L) statements, ledger integrity, and multi-currency accounting tracking.

· Performance Analysis & Management: Monitor gross margins against company benchmarks; conduct project-level profitability evaluations and provide data-driven insights to mitigate capital leakages.

· Executive Reporting: Own and prepare the core Weekly Performance Dashboard on Monday mornings, reporting weighted Gross Margin metrics across individual projects and business lines.

· End-to-End Controllership: Implement strict internal control frameworks, manage payment structures, cross-check commercial documentation from orders to supplier disbursements, and drive anti-fraud compliance.

· Business Process Improvement: Evaluate administrative and fulfillment workflows to streamline efficiency, eliminate procedural bottlenecks, and establish standardized operating protocols.

· Commercial Finance & Data Governance: Model strategic pricing frameworks to support corporate growth goals, while securely managing access permissions to protect critical intellectual property and internal pricing data boundaries.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

· Degree Holder: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Corporate Governance, or an equivalent discipline. Professional corporate qualifications (CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) are highly preferred.

· Professional Experience: 6 to 10 years of solid experience in Commercial Finance, P&L Analysis, or Financial Controllership within an international trading company, MNC, or industrial engineering environment.

· Core Mindset: Exceptionally proactive, details-driven, and structurally minded. A professional who values data accuracy, possesses robust common sense, and exercises independent judgment over passive processing.

· Technical Proficiency: Advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel (data modeling, calculated fields in pivot tables, complex logic lookups) and familiarity with secure ERP data permission systems.

· Language Mastery: Flawless corporate English (both written and spoken) is required to manage contract parameters and interact with international stakeholders; fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin is essential to coordinate with cross-border operations and logistics units.
