Financial Planning Consultant

• Provide comprehensive financial planning services to individual and corporate clients, including cash flow management, retirement planning, education savings, risk protection, and asset allocation advice, to help clients achieve their short-term and long-term financial goals.

• According to the customer's financial situation, risk tolerance, and life stage, tailor design appropriate insurance schemes, investment portfolios, and tax optimization strategies, and regularly review and adjust them.

• Collaborate with banks, trusts, lawyers and tax experts to provide cross-domain comprehensive wealth management services to high net worth clients, supporting family inheritance and asset protection planning.

• Continuously follow up on market dynamics and regulatory policy changes (such as ICP requirements of the Insurance Regulatory Commission, MPF system updates, and tax ordinance revisions), ensure that the advice provided meets the latest regulations and industry ethical standards.

• Participate in customer education activities, including holding financial planning lectures, workshops and one-on-one consultations, to enhance public financial literacy and build a professional and trustworthy brand image.

Work requirements

• Holding a Hong Kong insurance industry regulatory authority recognized insurance intermediary qualification (such as: licensed insurance agent or broker), and having CFP (Certified Financial Planner), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) or CFA Level I or above qualification is preferred.

• Have at least three years of practical experience in the private banking department of a bank, the wealth management department of an insurance company or an independent financial planning institution, familiar with local and cross-border wealth management products such as MPF, investment-linked insurance, offshore funds, REITs and bonds.

• Have excellent communication and listening skills, be able to clearly explain complex financial concepts, and always put the customer's interests first, handling each case with integrity, caution, and professionalism.

• Have basic financial analysis skills, be familiar with financial planning software (such as NaviPlan, MoneyGuidePro or local commonly used tools), and be able to independently compile financial statements, cash flow forecasts and retirement simulation reports.

• Have good writing and speaking skills in Chinese and English, be able to write smoothly about financial advice, customer communications and internal compliance documents; those with good Mandarin skills will be given priority.
