Job Responsibilities

• Independently responsible for the design deepening, production and on-site installation of various wooden furniture such as cabinets, doors, countertops, beds, etc., ensuring precise craftsmanship, sturdy structure and beautiful appearance

• According to the design drawings or on-site actual conditions, accurately construct the curved wooden wall, apron and false ceiling, and their structural assembly and surface decoration, with the ability to handle complex curved wooden works

• Execute daily inspections, maintenance and repairs of all-round wooden facilities such as sky, earth and walls, promptly discover and eliminate safety hazards, and ensure functional integrity and visual unity

• Collaborate to complete gypsum board-related work, including ceiling and wall installation, joint treatment, embedding, sanding, and control of substrate flatness, to meet the construction standards for subsequent painting or decoration

• Closely cooperate with the project team (including supervisors, designers, other trades), strictly follow the engineering progress milestones to push forward the task, and complete the delivery within the specified time limit with high quality and efficiency

• Have 5 to 10 years of local Hong Kong fine woodworking practical experience, able to complete the whole process of from material preparation, processing, assembly to on-site installation independently

• Proficient in the operation of common woodworking machinery (such as circular saws, band saws, pressure planers, sanding machines, etc.) and various hand tools; master precise measurement, layout, cutting, dovetailing, curved surface forming, and chamfering core processes

• Have basic construction drawing reading ability, be able to accurately understand floor plans, elevation plans, details and dimension markings, and effectively convert them into on-site construction schemes

• Proficient in Cantonese, able to communicate technical details clearly with foremen, designers and customers; those who understand Mandarin and basic English are given priority

• Emphasize professional ethics and construction site discipline, have a high sense of responsibility, team spirit, and proactive learning and continuous improvement of professional skills

• Must be a permanent resident of Hong Kong, meet the local construction site work visa and safety compliance requirements

• Daily salary of HKD$1300-$1500, determined based on individual skill level, experience qualifications, and project needs through negotiation
