Engagement is on a project basis with average terms of two to three (2 to 3) months.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Supporting Interior/Project Manager for types of material, areas and logistic preparation based on Structure pack drawings.</li><li>Access to the work area for hazards and ensure ground conditions are stable.</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams to determine sow requirements.</li><li>Order and inspect materials needed for each project. Ensure quality control and minimize waste.</li><li>Coordinate with site supervisor and other trades for mobilization, installation and dismantle work at site.</li><li>Transport materials (wood materials, fabrics and fitting etc.) to the designated work site.</li><li>Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials according to specifications and project requirements.</li><li>Install wood battening framework for interior and exterior roof and walls areas.</li><li>Apply finishing fittings like stretchable fabrics, netting to a frame wood surface.</li><li>Repair and fix damaged woodwork and Fabrics in the tent interior and exterior.</li><li>Ensure that work adheres to safety regulations and building codes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections during and after installation.</li><li>Work closely with other construction professionals, including contractors, and electricians to complete projects on time and to specifications.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills/Abilities</strong></p><p><strong><u>Personal</u></strong></p><ul><li>A naturally methodical and detail-driven person with team works, & communication skills.</li><li>Reliability and punctuality to meet the project timeline.</li><li>A willing attitude and an enjoyment of hard work.</li><li>The ability to work longer hours at times is essential.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Good physical condition and strength to handle heavy materials.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Technical</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ability to operate advanced machinery or specialized tools.</li><li>Strong knowledge of stitching, tailors’ techniques and materials.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and plans.</li><li>Familiarity with power and hand tools commonly used in carpentry.</li><li>Knowledge of safety protocols and building codes.</li><li>Ability to handle PPE, tools, equipment and machinery for installation and dismantling works.</li><li>English is essential with a second language an advantage.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum 5 years).</li><li>Experience with specific Tailors fields (e.g., curtains, drape finishing).</li><li>High School, or Diploma in a related field.</li><li>Construction or Event Industry experience an advantage.</li><li>Spoken English even if not native tongue.</li><li>Experience working at international golf events would be preferable.</li><li>Flexible working time frames</li></ul>
