Butter Up Kitchen Limited is a company to deliver premium OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Pastry & Bakery Solutions to the clients.

Job Description:

• Lead and supervise the bakery section

• Plan and execute the production schedule for producing Artisan/ European style bread and bread rolls, e.g. Sourdough, Bread Loaf, Focaccia, Buns, etc.

• Responsible to daily operation such as food preparation, dough making, lamination, kneading, baking, molding, decorating etc. (Hands-on experience required)

• Monitor the standard of food quality and quantity

• Manage inventory, ordering, budget control of raw materials and equipment maintenance

• Collaborate with sales teams and the Executive Pastry Chef for order enquiries

• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen area

• Perform ad-hoc tasks as per required

Job Requirement:

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in bakery, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

• Strong knowledge of bakery procedure, techniques, ingredients and central kitchen operation including equipment management

• Solid ability to produce Artisan/ European style bread from scratch to finish

• Hard-working, ability to work independently without supervision, self-motivated with good attitude

• Excellent in time management and inventory & cost control

• Able to lead, motivate, and train team members when required

• Proficiency in spoken English and Chinese is a plus

• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Baker

• Immediately available is preferred
