Job Description:

Deployment & Server Configuration

• Lead deployment of web applications using Apache Tomcat and Microsoft IIS
• Set up and configure client-server environments for web application installation
• Collaborate with development team to resolve deployment issues across Windows and Linux platforms

Project Lifecycle Support

• Support project implementation phases
• Conduct UAT and deployment planning activities
• Act as technical liaison for users, gathering requirements and facilitating web application issue resolution

Documentation & Training

• Prepare technical documents, including system manuals, SI&I documentation, and test cases
• Develop and deliver tailored user manual and training materials
• Conduct hands-on training sessions for end users to ensure adoption

Application Maintenance

• Maintain and troubleshoot applications in test and production environments
• Automate recurring operational tasks (e.g. backups, environment setup) using PowerShell or Bash

Requirements:

• Higher diploma or above in IT or Computer Science related disciplines
• 4 years or above relevant experience in application support and deployment
• Experience in application deployment and support on Windows / Linus servers
• Familiarity with scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Bash) for automation and configuration
• Basic understanding of networking and server infrastructure
• Strong communication skills and team spirit to communicate with customers and internal technical teams and documentation
• Candidates with SI (System Integrator) experience or similar application deployment and support background are preferred

Technical Skills:

• Web servers - IIS, Tomcat, Apache
• Application deployment - C#, Java
• RDBMS - MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL
• Backup solutions - ArcServe, Veeam
• Scripting - Python, Perl
• Basic networking knowledge
