Job Responsibilities

Coordinate the emergency response mechanism for sudden events, including elderly health crises, facility failures, infectious disease control, etc., and immediately activate the emergency response process and report to higher authorities according to the Social Affairs Bureau's guidance

Supervise nursing assistants, health care workers, and support staff, etc. front-line team, provide professional guidance and on-site support, ensure that the elderly care services meet the requirements of the Elderly Care Homes Ordinance and the Social Welfare Department's service quality standards

Plan and execute employee work assignments, shift scheduling, and cross-departmental collaboration, regularly conduct performance evaluations, individual development discussions, and team effectiveness reviews, and promote a positive service culture

In line with community service and development directions, participate in care homes and community organizations (such as elderly centers, Medical Bureau community network) cooperation projects, promote community integration and continuous care for the elderly

Work requirements

Must hold a certificate recognized by the Social Welfare Department as "Director of Elderly Care Homes" and have completed registration with the Social Welfare Department

Have 1 to 2 years of actual management experience in purchasing positions in institutions, familiar with Social Welfare Department funding schemes, service agreement terms and audit requirements

Preference will be given to those with nursing (RN/EN), registered social worker or licensed health care worker qualifications

Have excellent writing and oral communication skills in Chinese and English, be able to independently write operating reports, employee training materials and external liaison documents

Benefits

Monthly salary of HKD$28,000–$35,000, based on personal qualifications, experience, and professional qualifications

Supply daily meals; after the trial period (usually three months) ends, you will be entitled to an additional general outpatient medical benefit (covering designated clinics and drug subsidies)
