Carbon Zero was founded in 2000 by Zenith New Energy founder and Nameson holdings (HK1982) chairmen to invest C&I energy transition asset. The team has 20 years experience in renewable energy systems and decarbonization industry in Europe and China. It established an "Invest and Hold Fund" of 100Mn USD for the specialised asset investment. Carbon Zero New Energy invests in the energy transition asset (distributed rooftop solar, wind, battery energy) as well as decarbonization (energy efficiency, carbon reduction). The company has team in Hong Kong, China, Southeast Asia and Europe. We have an established team covering technology, finance and asset management. We have accumulated over 1GW renewable energy project experience, with strong connections with market leaders. Our LPs mainly come from understands industries, and it is agile and quick to respond to different opportunities. The Hong Kong based LPF is backed by industrialists such as Nameson holding and family offices in Hong Kong. Our LPs mainly come from manufacturing business and finance industry. We understand industries, and the need for energy transition. Zero Carbon New Energy (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. was jointly founded by the founder of Shanghai Sai Energy and the chairman of Hong Kong Nanxian Group (HK.1982) in 2020, and is dedicated to investing in global green energy transition assets for the industrial and commercial sector. The founding team launched its first renewable energy private equity fund in 2023, with a scale of $1 billion invested in global energy transition assets. We focus on investing in renewable energy generation, related energy storage and green power transition assets of global leading industrial and commercial enterprises. The company has established branches in China, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia and Europe. Our team has over 1 GW of successful project experience in the industrial and commercial sector, with over 20 years of experience and knowledge accumulation in green electricity, integrated energy efficiency and energy transition. We have mature teams and technical reserves in global low-carbon technology, new electricity market, green finance and technical management.
