<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Job Summary</strong></span></p> <p>The Programme Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of our outdoor education programmes. This role involves managing a diverse range of educational activities, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants. The Programme Manager will work closely with the Director of AISL Outdoor to develop and implement innovative and impactful programmes that align with the organisation’s mission and goals. </p> <p></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <p><strong>Programme Development and Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Programme development from conception to execution, ensuring that the educational objectives are met and the programme is effective in delivering its intended outcomes.</li> <li>To work closely with the Director of AISL Outdoor to develop new programme ideas and improve existing offerings.</li> <li>Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to ensure high-quality experiences.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Participant Safety and Risk Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of all participants.</li> <li>Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure all activities comply with relevant safety standards and regulations.</li> <li>Respond to emergencies and incidents effectively, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Logistics and Operations </strong></p> <ul> <li>To ensure that all logistical elements are in place and that participants receive the necessary communication and support.</li> <li>Manage budgets, ensuring programmes are delivered within financial constraints while maintaining high standards.</li> <li>Liaise with vendors, partners, and external organisations to secure resources and support for programme delivery.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Communication and Stakeholder Engagement</strong></p> <ul> <li>Act as the primary point of contact for Operations Providers and Programme Content Providers and other stakeholders, providing clear and timely information.</li> <li>Prepare programme reports, updates, and work with Marketing Team for promotional materials as required.</li> <li>To support and promoting of programmes and building relationships with key stakeholders.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong></p> <ul> <li>Stay informed about trends and best practices in outdoor education, incorporating new ideas and techniques into programmes.</li> <li>Using the feedback from participants and staff and using it to drive continuous improvement in programme design and delivery.</li> <li>To work closely with the Director of AISL Outdoor to develop strategic initiatives that enhance the organisation’s impact and reach.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p>To handle ad-hoc tasks as required.</p> <p></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Outdoor Education, Environmental Science, Recreation Management, or a related field.</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in outdoor education programme management.</li> <li>Budget management and financial acumen.</li> <li>Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.</li> <li>Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high quality programmes and experiences.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle unforeseen situations.</li> </ul> <p></p> <p>The successful candidate can expect a competitive package including a salary that reflects the importance of the position, a performance-related annual bonus and many further benefits.</p> <p>AISL Education Group is committed to the safety and protection of children.
