Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage all security systems from the control room, including CCTV, motion sensors, access control, perimeter alarms, and smart home security interfaces.

• Ensure all entry/exit points are secured and access is controlled in accordance with approved protocols.

• Perform regular patrols of the property (interior and exterior) to deter and detect any security threats or unauthorized access.

• Serve as first responder in case of emergency, including activating or securing the panic room and executing protective protocols.

• Conduct screening and verification of visitors, contractors, and deliveries.

• Maintain clear and concise incident logs and shift reports using standard reporting tools.

• Participate in routine emergency drills, including evacuation, intrusion response, and medical emergencies.

• Provide secure escort for family members, guests, and domestic staff when required.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of all matters concerning the family, property, and operations.

• Liaise with law enforcement or emergency services as directed by management in case of an incident.

• Maintain high standards of professional appearance, situational awareness, and demeanour at all times.

Requirement:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in high-level residential security, close protection, or military/law enforcement roles.

• Prior experience working with HNWIs, embassies, luxury residences, or diplomatic personnel preferred.

• Strong knowledge of control room operations, alarm monitoring systems, and incident response procedures.

• Experience with panic room protocols and emergency lockdown procedures.

• Familiarity with perimeter security technology, biometric access systems, and integrated home automation security platforms.

• First Aid and CPR/AED Certification (Mandatory)

• Fire Safety and Evacuation Training

• Control Room and CCTV Operator Certification (Preferred)

• Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) or Close Protection Training (an advantage)

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond decisively

• Physical fitness and stamina to perform patrols and stand duty

• Strong command of English (spoken and written); other languages an advantage

• Technological proficiency with modern security and communication systems

Working Conditions

• Rotational shift schedule with 12-hour shifts (Day/Night)

• Based on-site at the residence; must be comfortable with long durations within a residential environment

• Occasional extended hours during special events or emergencies

Must be contactable during off-duty hours in case of urgent recall
