Company Background:

Our client is a Hong Kong licensed corporation holding Type 1, 4, and 9 regulated activity licenses, with expanding exposure to digital assets, structured products, and fund platforms.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a technically proficient and security-focused IT Manager to oversee our technology infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring system security, managing user access, and supporting the technological needs of a fast-paced financial firm dealing with digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cyber Security Management:Develop, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect sensitive financial data and infrastructure from threats.

• User Management:Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights across all systems (Windows, Linux, email servers, trading platforms) ensuring proper segregation of duties and adherence to the principle of least privilege.

• Infrastructure Maintenance:Oversee the maintenance, upgrade, and troubleshooting of all IT hardware, software, networks, and servers.

• System Administration:Manage and support critical business applications, including trading platforms, fund administration systems, and corporate tools.

• Data Protection & Backup:Implement and monitor data backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

• Vendor Management:Liaise with external technology vendors and service providers for procurement, support, and project implementation.

• Compliance Support:Work with the compliance team to ensure IT practices meet SFC regulatory requirements for record-keeping, data security, and business continuity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management or a senior IT role, preferably within the financial services (SFC licensed) or fintech industry.

• Strong expertise in cybersecurity, including firewall management, intrusion detection, vulnerability assessments, and security audits.

• Proven experience in user access management and identity governance.

• Solid knowledge of network infrastructure, server administration (Windows/Linux), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Experience with financial applications and trading systems is a strong plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese).
