Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
· Design and execute proprietary trading and market-making strategies across spot, futures, and perpetual contracts.
· Manage trading accounts, wallets, and fund allocation across multiple exchanges to optimize capital efficiency.
· Develop and maintain risk control frameworks, including exposure monitoring, PnL analytics, and alert systems.
· Conduct in-depth research on market structure, volatility, and liquidity patterns of major and emerging virial assets.
· Collaborate with engineering teams to automate strategies, enhance backtesting, and optimize algorithms.
· Explore opportunities within DeFi, DEXs, bridges, and Layer2 ecosystems for liquidity and arbitrage strategies.
· Build and maintain institutional relationships with exchanges, liquidity providers, and counterparties.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
3–7+ years of professional experience in proprietary trading, market making, electronic trading, or quantitative research—preferably in crypto markets.
Strong understanding of spot, futures, and perpetual contract mechanics, margining, funding rates, and exchange microstructure.
Proven track record managing trading accounts, wallets, and cross‑exchange fund allocation; familiarity with custody, on‑chain wallets and withdrawals.
Hands‑on experience designing and implementing risk control frameworks (exposure limits, PnL attribution, real‑time monitoring and alerting).
Proficiency in quantitative research and analytics: volatility modeling, liquidity analysis, order‑book dynamics and statistical/arbitrage strategies.
Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, C++, Go, or Rust) and experience with backtesting frameworks, data engineering, and automation of trading strategies.
Familiarity with DeFi primitives, DEXs, AMMs, bridges, Layer‑2 solutions and related on‑chain tooling (web3 libraries, smart‑contract interactions).
