Job Description
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Officer to join our dynamic team at APEC Group International Limited based in Hong Kong. This full-time position will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the broader accounting functions in managing a retail properties portfolio.What you'll be doing
Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
Prepare and process journal entries, payments, bank reconciliation and other accounting matters
Collaborate with the property management company and other internal departments to resolve accounting issues
Provide support to the accounting team in various ad-hoc tasks and projects
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and regulations
What we're looking for
0-2 years of experience as an Accounting Officer or similar role. Relevant accounting qualification (e.g. HKICPA, ACCA) preferred
Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Willing to learn and take responsibility
Proficiency in using accounting software is a plus
