Job Description
Job Description:
Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and experienced AV Design Consultant who can work independently, handle projects from conception to completion, and possess a strong command of design principles and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in AV system design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand client requirements and provide technical proposals
- Independently handle AV system design projects, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and objectives.
- Develop detailed AV system designs, including schematic diagrams, equipment lists, and AutoCAD drawings.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations for AV equipment selection and integration.
- Ensure that designs are cost-effective and adhere to project budgets.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the AV industry.
- Conduct site visits and assessments as needed.
- Work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
- Attend client meetings and effectively communicate technical concepts.
Qualifications:
- Associated Degree/ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Strong knowledge of AV equipment, systems, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- A passion for staying updated with advancements in AV technology.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Junior Design Consultant
- Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in designing and engineering large scale audio visual systems for events and installations
- Knowledge of audio video transmission and distribution solutions
- CTS certification or other relevant industry certifications
