<p>Dream Impact is seeking an energetic, proactive, and caring individual to serve as the face of DI as <strong>Community & Events Manager.</strong> The role involves growing our community of 100+ founders through: marketing products/services online/offline, managing social media, communicating with members, overseeing onboarding and user journey (quarterly check-ins, membership renewals), organizing monthly community events, connecting partners for collaborations, managing ambassadors/community builders to co-create events, and raising awareness about the Dream Impact community.</p>
<p>As Community & Events Manager, you’ll take ownership in our mission-driven business, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution, offering opportunities for professional growth while making a meaningful impact.</p>
<p>You’ll work closely with the DI community, reporting directly to the Co-Founder & Chief Catalyst to align with our vision and foster cross-team collaboration.</p>
<p>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</p>
<p>-Internal Communications & Connection Facilitation<br>-Communicate community updates (e.g., event invites, new policies, ecosystem resources) to 100+ impact partners<br>-Manage our WhatsApp community channels<br>-Events Planning and Execution<br>-Build a quarterly event calendar engaging all stakeholders:</p>
<p>-Current members: Lunch-and-learn sessions, appreciation events (happy hours, themed parties, etc.)<br>-Potential members: Lead-generation and sales-related events<br>-Local community: Engage external organizers to use our event space<br>-Develop and execute event strategies aligned with community goals<br>-Set event dates, times, and pricing to meet member needs<br>-Invite speakers; identify partnership/sponsorship opportunities<br>-Oversee ticketing processes and create promotional codes<br>-Manage on-site logistics for smooth event execution<br>-Conduct post-event surveys for feedback and improvement<br>-Collect and share event photos/videos<br>-Facilitate event invitations, membership sign-ups, and newsletter distribution</p>
<p>-Community Management and Development<br>-Manage member onboarding and user journey (quarterly check-ins, membership renewals)<br>-Plan/launch community events/initiatives to connect members (targeted introductions, mentor matches, -networking events, internal communications)<br>-Understand business needs and personal objectives of tenant organizations/members<br>-Facilitate and nurture impactful relationships within the community<br>-Resolve member conflicts promptly and de-escalate tensions<br>-Strategically plan to create community value and collaborate on implementation with the team<br>-Design and Community Branding<br>-Create simple designs for event materials (invitations, posters, promotions)<br>-Develop engaging social media content (photos/videos), including reels highlighting event highlights<br>-Share event details/community updates across social platforms to boost visibility/engagement<br>-Customer Relationship Management<br>-Direct potential, new, and existing customers to relevant team members<br>-Ambassadorship<br>-Conduct tours for potential members<br>-Ensure new members align with DI’s culture<br>-Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders<br>-Manage community P&L<br>-Space Enhancement Recommendations<br>-Propose new features/perks to attract members</p>
<p>Experience, Requirements, and Preferences<br>-Fluent in Cantonese and English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus<br>-Open to all educational backgrounds and experiences<br>-Skills in photo/video shooting, editing, and graphic design<br>-Experience in corporate communications and event coordination<br>-Experience in event marketing and sales<br>-Passion for social entrepreneurial communities and working with people<br>-Driven, high executional power, proactive, committed, curious, fast-paced, people-connector, adaptable<br>-High ethics, empathy, and dependability<br>-Proven ability to build/maintain relationships with stakeholders (partners, sponsors, vendors, community members)</p>
