Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced professional translator for an upcoming project involving Traditional Chinese<> English translation, with a primary focus on Initial Public Offering (IPO) documents . These include prospectuses, offering circulars, financial statements, legal agreements, and related regulatory filings (often under Hong Kong Stock Exchange or similar listing requirements).
Key Requirements:
Native-level proficiency in one language (Traditional Chinese or English) and near-native fluency in the other.
Extensive proven experience in translating IPO-related documents (at least 3–5 substantial IPO projects preferred).
Strong background in financial, legal, and securities terminology, with excellent understanding of IPO-specific language (e.g., risk factors, use of proceeds, corporate governance, financial disclosures).
High attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency in terminology; ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
Familiarity with Hong Kong/China listing rules and English-Chinese bilingual financial documentation is highly advantageous.
Availability for potential long-term collaboration on similar high-stakes projects.
