Spanning over 91.5 hectares, the park is composed of two main sections: Beachside and Summit, featuring a variety of animal exhibits, thrilling rides, and showcases, including world-class roller coasters and aquariums among captivating facilities. Since its inception, Ocean Park has continuously expanded and upgraded, notably announcing a major reconstruction plan in 2005 with a capital investment of HK$5.5 billion aimed at transforming the park into a world-leading marine-themed park. Job Description
Work nature
Successful employment will receive water safety/rescue training and on-the-job training to become a qualified member of the water facility operations team
Hourly rate: $65-95/hr (depending on relevant qualifications)
Working hours:
Daily work 8-10 hours (depending on the park's operating hours)
Working 2-6 days per week, including Saturday, Sunday, public holidays and the days before the holidays
Work requirements
Second 5 or above
Must pass the color blindness test
Those who hold a valid pool lifeguard certificate issued by the Hong Kong Lifesaving Society are preferred
Applicants with experience in operating water-based recreational facilities will be given priority
High sensitivity to safety and service-related matters
Responsibility, proactive personality, and enjoyment of social interaction are all important qualities to have.
Able to speak fluent Cantonese, simple English, and Mandarin
Able to adapt to outdoor and shift work (including Saturday, Sunday, public holidays and holiday eve)
