Job Description
Immigration Consultant Administrative Assistant
Job Responsibilities
- Assist immigration consultants in handling client cases by doing paperwork, including sorting, verification and submission of various visa, residency, and citizenship application documents;
- Responsible for regular written communication and follow-up with overseas embassies, immigration departments, and other relevant government agencies;
- Establish and maintain a customer file system to ensure complete, accurate, and confidential data, and to update case progress on time;
- Schedule client meetings, telephone consultations and online conferences, coordinate internal consultant scheduling and resource allocation;
- Write standardized letters, application statements, supplementary explanation and translation files (Chinese and English), ensure clear meaning and compliance with the format.
Work requirements
- Have a college degree or above, majoring in law, public administration, language, international relations or related fields is preferred;
- Cantonese and Mandarin, English, writing fluently; Mandarin reaching the basic communication level is better;
- Familiar with the application process and document requirements of the Hong Kong Immigration Department, the UKVI, the Canadian IRCC, the Australian Department of Home Affairs, etc., the main immigration authorities;
- Have immigration, education consulting, law firm or government service-related administrative work experience, familiar with the operation of Microsoft Office and file management system;
- Careful and steady, strong sense of responsibility, able to accurately execute detail-oriented work in a multitasking environment, and strictly abide by personal data privacy regulations and industry confidentiality norms.
