Experience background: Computer-related major, associate degree or above, with at least 3 years of actual development experience on the .NET platform.

Backend skills (required): Proficient in VB.NET or C# (with a focus on reading and writing VB.NET during the interview), familiar with the .NET Framework, and familiar with WinForm, WebForm, or ASP.NET MVC, at least one of which must be used.

Database: Familiar with SQL.

Comprehensive quality: Have good awareness of code conventions, be good at communicating, take responsibility, and have the ability to independently solve technical problems.

SQL skills (core): Must be proficient in SQL, able to write fluently add, delete, modify, and query statements, familiar with common operations such as multi-table joins, aggregate functions, and subqueries, and able to independently complete data validation and backend data construction.

Testing foundation: Familiar with software testing processes and common methods, and able to independently write and execute test cases.

Job Title: Development Engineer [Testing]

• Participate in the software full life cycle testing work, including requirement analysis, test plan formulation, test case design and execution, defect tracking and regression validation;

• Conduct functional testing, interface testing, and backend data validation for a system developed on the .NET platform (VB.NET / C#), ensuring system logic correctness and data consistency;

• Use SQL to independently complete complex queries, including multiple table joins, aggregate functions, subqueries, etc., supporting test data construction, result comparison, and anomaly data location;

• Collaborate with development teams on WinForm, WebForm or ASP.NET MVC application end-to-end testing, and assist with front-end behavioral validation (such as JavaScript event response, React component state, etc.) if necessary;

• Participate in automated testing feasibility evaluation, support the improvement of existing manual testing processes efficiency and quality assurance;

• Write clear and complete test reports, proactively feedback risks and improvement suggestions, and drive problem closure.

• Computer science related major, bachelor's degree (meeting the education level requirement), with 1 to 3 years of software testing work experience, and those with 3 years of .NET platform practical development experience are preferred;

• Proficient in VB.NET or C# language, able to read and write VB.NET code fluently (interview will focus on this); familiar with the .NET Framework and WinForm, WebForm or ASP.NET MVC technologies,

• Proficient in JavaScript core syntax (ES5/ES6), those with React practical project experience are preferred; those familiar with Redux, Hooks, etc., common front-end state management and development modes are better;

• Must be proficient in SQL: able to independently write insert, delete, update, and select statements, familiar with multi-table joins, GROUP BY, HAVING, nested subqueries, etc., and have backend data validation and simulation construction abilities;

• Familiar with software testing basic processes and methodological thinking, able to independently design and execute functional test cases, and have defect analysis and cross-module collaborative localization ability;

• Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English for daily work communication;

• Must hold one of the following valid Hong Kong work permits: Hong Kong permanent residency, high-end talent pass (High Talent Pass), outstanding talent entry plan (Outstanding Talent Pass), non-local graduate retention/hire arrangement (IANG), dependent entry visa, or other qualified work permit.
