Manager of Asian 20th Century & Contemporary Art Department

Responsibilities

Artworks Collection, Valuations & Sales
* Assist the Department with promotional activities, marketing and business development for auction artworks
* Handle the valuation of artworks and facilitate communication between clients and department head.

2. Writing and Research for Auction Articles

Review the condition of artworks

3. Sales Follow-Up

• Provide customer service after the Sale between buyers and sellers.
• Follow up on payments with both buyers and sellers.
  Requirements

A degree in Art History, Literature, or Journalism is preferred

More than 3 years solid working experience in the art-related industry

Proficient in general computer software, such as Word, Excel, PPT, (MS Office preferred)

Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, high attention to details

Self-motivated, positive work attitude, and good team spirit

Proficiency in written English and Chinese

Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

Careful, reliable, responsible, and able to work independently

Flexible and enthusiastic about handling daily departmental tasks

Experience in an auction house is a preferred
