Maintenance Services Manager - Platform Screen Door

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the implementation of technical, engineering and maintenance support activities and projects for facility maintenance including safety, quality, environmental and standardization of work
• Provide expert support to platform screen door, automatic platform gate, baggage handling equipment, falling object detection system or other station equipment of the whole network to ensure achievement of the established system performance standard and the requirements of asset management system, operating agreement, integration management system and customer service pledges
• Evaluate and propose maintenance / outsourcing strategy, and manage the execution of the maintenance services contract
• Review and develop the maintenance documentation of the responsible assets, as well as establish and implement an effective technical audit system to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the maintenance activities by in-house staff and contractors
• Conduct regular supervision and inspection, as well as oversee the facility maintenance activities both in traffic hours and non-traffic hours as scheduled
• Propose and evaluate asset refurbishment / replacement strategy, prepare asset management review reports, and recommend equipment performance improvement actions to ensure that the station based equipment is in proper and serviceable condition

• Act as an Incident Investigation Officer and take lead to conduct technical investigation
  Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline

• A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience, of which 3 years should be in engineering management / supervisory capacity
• Good analytical, communication and people management skills
• Strong technical background and management experience in platform screen doors and/or automatic platform gates system is preferred
