AI Developer (Stationed in Shenzhen)

KVB Groupis an international financial services corporation with different fully owned subsidiaries across the globe with regulator licensed operations in Auckland New Zealand, Sydney and Melbourne Australia, Toronto Canada, Hong Kong as well as Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain AI applications and agentic workflows using Python, LangChain, and LangGraph.

2. Develop and integrate tool-augmented LLM pipelines under the guidance of senior engineers.

3. Implement and maintain reusable AI skills and components.

4. Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve LLM output quality and consistency.

5. Build and test AI agents, including designing agent tools, memory, and decision logic.

6. Contribute to test harnesses and evaluation frameworks to systematically assess AI agent behaviour and quality.

7. Write and maintain AI-specific tests including unit tests for agent logic, prompt regression tests, and end-to-end workflow tests.

8. Work closely with the team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

9. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of AI features.

10. Keep up with developments in the AI space and bring new ideas to the team.

Requirements

Required

• 2–4 years of software development experience, with some exposure to AI/LLM development.

• Solid Python skills with good coding practices.

• Familiarity with LangChain or LangGraph, or strong willingness to learn.

• Basic understanding of prompt engineering and working with LLMs.

• Experience or strong interest in building and testing AI agents.

• Good engineering fundamentals: Git, testing, CI/CD.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred

• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.

• Exposure to LLM providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Llama.

• Interest in fintech or regulated industry environments.
