Warehouse and shipping clerk Job Description
Responsibilities: Responsible for handling goods supply arrangements; follow up on orders, shipping dates, logistics arrangements, customs clearance documents; and handle inventory records, responsible for documents; office work in the warehouse; and need to execute other related work
Qualifications: Secondary Five level; 2 years of experience; good Cantonese; general Mandarin; general English; able to read and write Chinese; able to read and write English; able to operate computers in Chinese and English
Benefits: $15,000 - $18,000 per month, overtime allowance, 12 days of annual leave, bank holidays, Monday to Friday: 10 am to 7 pm, working 5.5 days per week (long and short weeks), 8 hours per day
Record goods in and out: Accurately record the entry and exit of all goods in the warehouse, including quantity, date and related information.
Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventories to ensure accurate inventory data and assist in arranging replenishment.
Document processing: Process and warehouse-related documents, such as purchase orders, sales orders, etc.
Data input and update: Input goods information into the warehouse management system and keep the data up to date.
Handling import and export documents: Prepare and process documents related to goods transportation, such as bills of lading, invoices, customs declarations, etc.
Transportation arrangements: Coordinate the transportation of goods, including contacting transportation companies, arranging shipping dates and picking up goods.
Customs clearance: Assist in the handling of goods' customs clearance procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
File review: Review import and export documents to ensure all files are accurate and error-free, avoiding delays or mistakes.
Contact customers: Keep in touch with customers and provide information on goods transportation.
