To accelerate product innovation and technical breakthroughs, we are now recruiting a mechanical design engineer responsible for seat structure design, material selection and manufacturing support, ensuring product performance and quality reach industry leading levels.
Duties include:
Responsible for the mechanical structure design of automotive, aviation or rail transportation seats, including 3D modeling, engineering drawing and technical documentation compilation;
Participate in the full product development process, from concept design, prototype testing to mass production optimization, to ensure that the design meets the functional, safety and cost requirements;
Collaborate with procurement and production teams to evaluate materials, processes, and suppliers' technical capabilities to ensure design feasibility;
Perform structural strength, durability and dynamic performance simulation analysis (such as finite element analysis FEA), and propose improvement schemes;
Solve technical issues during product development and production, provide on-site support and design optimization advice;
Track industry technology trends, research new materials and new processes in seat design;
Complete other technical development tasks assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above, mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, aerospace engineering or related fields;
6 years of mechanical design experience, those with automotive seat, aircraft seat or rail transit seat design experience are preferred;
Proficient in CAD design software (such as SolidWorks, CATIA or Pro/E) and engineering simulation tools (such as ANSYS, ABAQUS);
Familiar with metal/composite material processing technology (such as stamping, welding, injection molding) and surface treatment technology;
Understand industry standards (such as ISO, SAE, EN) and safety regulations (such as FMVSS, ECE R80);
Have strong analysis and problem-solving skills, be able to independently complete complex structural design;
Good English reading and writing skills, able to read international technical literature and communicate with overseas teams;
Able to adapt to short-term business trips (Hong Kong and domestic supplier visits);
Strong innovation awareness, rigorous work, and team spirit.
