Hotel receptionist

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily front desk reception work, including handling guest check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accurate, efficient and hotel service standards.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to on-site inquiries, providing professional consultation on room status, facilities and services, surrounding transportation and travel information, etc.
  • Handle reservation management, coordinate with sales, housekeeping and operations teams to ensure reservation data is complete and system records are updated in real-time.

Work requirements

  • Have secondary five education or above, those who hold a certificate in hotel management, travel services or related fields will be given priority; fresh graduates with potential are welcome to apply.
  • Able to communicate fluently in Cantonese and Mandarin, with basic English conversational skills, able to clearly express and understand the needs of foreign guests.
  • Have good manners, affinity and stress resistance, and be able to maintain politeness, focus and service enthusiasm during peak traffic periods.
  • Familiarity with common office software (such as Microsoft Word, Excel) and hotel management systems (PMS) is preferred; those with no experience will receive comprehensive on-the-job training.
  • Need to cooperate with shift arrangements, including early, mid, and night shifts, as well as weekends and public holidays, with a sense of responsibility and team spirit.
