Senior Technician/ Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily inspection, maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair of the power system and air conditioning equipment in large commercial buildings, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the system.

• Execute preventive maintenance according to the predetermined maintenance plan, including air conditioning units, pumps, transformers, distribution cabinets and related control systems. Check and adjust them.

• Handle sudden equipment failures and respond quickly during shifts to complete emergency repairs, minimizing the impact on building operations.

• Support the building renovation, system upgrade or new installation of building facilities in cooperation with engineering supervisors and other technical personnel.

Work requirements

• Have at least one year of practical experience in property management industry in electricity and air conditioning system maintenance; those who have served large shopping malls, office buildings or mixed development projects are given priority.

• Familiar with common HVAC systems (such as centrifugal chillers, air-cooled heat pumps, air handling units, cooling towers) and low-voltage distribution equipment operation principles and safety specifications.

• Able to adapt to shift and rotating schedule, including early shift (7:30 am to 5:00 pm) and mid-shift (9:00 am to 6:30 pm), working 5 to 6 days (long-short week system), with a daily work schedule of 9.5 hours.

• Have basic Cantonese communication skills, be able to read and understand English technical documents; those who understand Mandarin are an added bonus; must be permanent residents of Hong Kong, meeting the local employment qualifications.
