About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Relationship Manager to join our Retail Banking Group. This role has a strong focus on serving clients with cross-border banking needs. You will play a key part in acquiring new customers, developing business relationships, and promoting a range of retail banking and wealth management products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acquire new-to-bank customers and develop new business opportunities, with an emphasis on clients requiring cross-border financial services.

• Achieve various business goals assigned by the Branch Manager through the delivery of professional and high-quality service.

• Promote and sell retail banking products, including non-investment linked insurance and investment products, to generate fee income.

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with a designated portfolio of affluent customers.

• Ensure full compliance with internal guidelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Provide back-up support to branch operations when needed.

Key Requirements from Hiring Manager:

• Mainland Chinese background (e.g., educated or grew up in Mainland China) with a strong understanding of the culture.

• Must have approximately 2 years of previous work experience in Hong Kong's financial industry.

• Able to bring transferable customer relationships/network, particularly clients with cross-border banking needs.

• Fluent in Mandarin and able to understand Cantonese (speaking ability is a definite advantage) to effectively communicate with diverse clients and the local team.

• Diploma or Degree holder in relevant disciplines.

• 1-2+ years of experience in the financial industry, preferably with retail banking or branch exposure.

• Fulfill the Relevant Individual (RI) & Technical Representation (TR) requirements.

• Proficiency in PC knowledge.

• Salary Range: HK$40,000 - HK$50,000 per month (commensurate with experience and proven client portfolio).

This position is focused on serving customers with cross-border banking needs, and you will play a key role in expanding new customers, building business relationships, and promoting various retail banking and wealth management products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Expand new customers and business opportunities, with special focus on customers with cross-border financial services needs.

• Promote retail bank products, including non-linked insurance and investment products, to create fee income.

• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with a specified high-end customer group.

• Ensure full compliance with the bank's internal guidelines, procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Provide logistics support to branch operations when necessary.

Specific requirements for recruiting Customer Service Managers:

• Must have a mainland background（For example, receiving education or growing up in the mainland), in-depth understanding of mainland culture.

• Must have about two years of work experience in the Hong Kong financial industry.

• Able to carry transferable customer relationships/networks, especially those with cross-border banking needs.

• Holding relevant academic diplomas or degrees.

• One to two years of financial industry experience, those with retail bank or branch experience are preferred.

• Meet the relevant personal (RI) and technical representative (TR) qualification requirements.

• Familiarity with computer operations.

• Salary range: Monthly Hong Kong dollars $40,000 - $50,000 (will be determined based on experience and customer portfolio).
