Systems Engineer

<p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li><p>Implement a large-scale Government multi-DC systems infrastructure, including hardware equipment setup, systems installation, configuration, integration, and all the acceptance tests.</p></li><li><p>Setting up high availability and disaster recovery for the systems.</p></li><li><p>Systems technologies employed include:</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>VMWare, vCenter, Site Recovery Manager (SRM)</p></li><li><p><strong>Red Hat Linux</strong> , Oracle Linux, Windows Server</p></li><li><p>HPE Enterprise server hardware</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Prepare project documentation.</p></li><li><p>Operate the systems infrastructure after deployment by managing work including systems patching and update, performance tuning, and incident handling.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li><p>Degree or above in computer science or equivalent.</p></li><li><p>At least three (3) years of IT experience; and</p></li><li><p>At least two (2) years of IT experience that covers one or more of the following areas (viz., functional/speciality experience):</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>conduct site preparation planning and control, network sizing, implementation and related support services;</p></li><li><p>conduct system installation, configuration, integration, interface management and performance tuning; or</p></li><li><p>perform data modelling, data dictionary maintenance, database construction and tuning.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Solid understanding of the technologies being used, with proven hands-on implementation experiences.</p></li><li><p>Can work independently and collaborate within a team of specialists and engineers.</p></li><li><p>Experience on ManageEngine, SolarWinds, Splunk, CyberArk, etc. is desirable.</p></li><li><p>Good communication skill in both spoken and written English and Chinese.</p></li><li><p>Have Rights to working in Hong Kong </p></li></ul>
