Chinese/ Cantonese language teacher

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for teaching Chinese and Cantonese courses, designing appropriate teaching content and progress according to students’ levels.

• Use diverse teaching methods to enhance students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities, with special emphasis on daily conversations and practical applications.

• Prepare teaching materials, assignments, and evaluation tests, regularly review students’ learning achievements and provide feedback.

• Participate in teaching conferences and training activities, and continuously improve teaching quality and course design.

• Assist in organizing language and cultural activities to promote students’ understanding and interest in the local language and culture.

Work requirements

• Proficient in writing in Chinese and fluent in Cantonese, with good vocal and intonation demonstration skills.

• Applicants with relevant teaching experience or educational background are preferred, those with teaching experience to non-native speakers are even better.

• Have basic computer skills, be able to use common office and teaching software for lesson planning and administrative work.

• Love teaching work, patient and careful, responsible and good communication skills.

• Can be adjusted to different class times, including daytime, evening or weekend hours.
