Online Mandarin teacher

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing one-to-one or group online Mandarin teaching services to overseas students, with course content covering daily conversations, phonetic correction, vocabulary expansion, grammar application, and cultural commentary on various themes.

• Design and continuously optimize personalized teaching plans based on students’ language foundation, learning objectives, age group, and interest orientation, ensuring teaching content is targeted and practical.

• Through classroom interaction, periodic assessments, and speaking tasks, regularly evaluate students’ learning achievements, provide immediate and constructive feedback, and dynamically adjust teaching pace and strategies.

• Actively communicate with students and their parents (if applicable) in a professional, friendly and frequent manner, and report learning progress, weakness analysis and subsequent improvement suggestions according to the agreed-upon cycle.

• Proficient in the use of mainstream online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, and ClassIn, integrating multimedia resources, interactive whiteboards, digital teaching aids, and self-made teaching materials to create a lively and efficient distance learning environment.

• Have fluent and standard Mandarin expression ability (which must pass the voice and oral ability audit), and at the same time be able to communicate and explain basic teaching in English.

• Preference will be given to those with teaching experience, especially those with online Chinese teaching, international student counseling or cross-cultural education experience will be given priority.

• Have high empathy, patience and affinity, good at stimulating learning motivation, building trust and positive teacher-student interaction relationships.
