Package Center Operations: Implementing operation strategies to achieve short-term and long-term business goals Working with center management teams to ensure the successful implementation of center operating plans to meet business objectives Fostering a safety-first and customer-centric work environment to ensure business continuity and growth Reviewing and analyzing work processes and schedules to identify cost-saving opportunities and performance improvements Partnering with other departments to troubleshoot service inefficiencies or concerns, adjusting plans and behaviors accordingly Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with UPS policies and procedures Vendor Management: Planning budgets and monitoring expenses on vendor services Analyzing usage and consumption patterns to identify potential optimizations Monitoring vendor performance through the development of fair, objective, and measurable performance metrics and conducting monthly reviews Working with the engineering department to onboard new vendors by setting up SOPs, initiating training on UPS services and compliance standards, and UPS vendor-related technologies Auditing vendor processes to ensure they comply and excel in meeting UPS service and compliance standards People Development: Determining employees' training needs to provide training and develop continuous development plans Providing ongoing feedback and support to enhance performance Conducting performance evaluations consistently, fairly, and objectively to encourage continuous performance improvement Holding oneself and others accountable to achieve individual and group goals Addressing individual and group performance issues promptly according to UPS policies and procedures to motivate and foster teamwork Collaborative Work Environment: Communicating operational objectives, changes, and updates to keep the workgroup informed and focused Actively identifying and addressing employee relations and morale issues to prevent negative impacts on performance and service Establishing positive working relationships with all functions to promote teamwork Education and Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience * Preferred to hold a Class 1 and Class 2 driver's license * Collaborative team player who works effectively with cross-functional teams * Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing both internal and external partners and managing supplier relationships * Strong analytical skills and number sense, proficient in Excel and PowerBI; familiarity with VBA Macro or DAX is advantageous * Effective leadership skills, able to develop people and motivate the team to achieve business success * Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) * Good understanding of the courier business or logistics industry * Candidates with less experience will be considered as Operations Supervisor What we can offer: * Attractive salary package * Guaranteed double pay * Performance bonus * Paid annual leave * Medical insurance * Life insurance * 5-day workweek * Rich training opportunities * Career development opportunities * Stable, open, and friendly working environment * Work location: Kowloon Bay
