Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the planning, writing and editing of secondary school English and science subject textbooks to ensure that the content meets the curriculum standards and teaching needs

• Collaborate with education experts, subject mentors and design teams to develop innovative and practical teaching resources, including textbooks, workbooks and digital learning materials

• According to different publishers or institutions' style guides, do word polishing, proofreading, and format uniformization to ensure publishing quality

• Participate in teaching materials project management, complete each stage of the task on time, including outline drafting, first draft review, revision and final editing

• Continuously monitor local and international education trends, optimize existing teaching materials, and enhance students’ learning outcomes

Work requirements

• University graduate, majoring in English, science, education or related subjects; those with secondary school teaching experience are given priority

• At least two years of relevant editing or teaching experience, familiar with the Hong Kong secondary school curriculum (especially English and science subjects) is preferred

• Proficient in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin, with excellent writing and communication skills in Chinese and English

• Welcome current or former teaching staff to switch to publishing or educational content development
