Data Platform Lead

<p>1. Experience in designing Data / Data Platform Architecture (Understanding of data modeling, database design, and ETL processes / Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases)</p><p>2. (Nice to have) Cloud Platforms experience (Preferrably Azure)</p><p>3. Experience on Big Data technologies (e.g Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) , and / or data warehousing solutions (e.g Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)</p><p>4. Have understanding the data Governance and security concept. Providing role / access control guidance to data platform with data security team</p><p>5. Programming language, have expereince on data manipulation and analysis using SQL / Python / R / or Scala</p><p></p><p></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Define and evolve the architecture of the enterprise data platform, including data lakes, warehouses, and real-time processing layers.</p><p>• Translate business requirements into data platform capabilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategy and governance.</p><p>• Evaluate and recommend tools and cloud services for data ingestion, storage, processing, and orchestration.</p><p>• Design data platforms with built-in security, privacy, and compliance controls.</p><p>• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of the platform to support growing data volumes.</p><p>• Lead the end-to-end delivery of data platform components, including ingestion pipelines and transformation logic.</p><p>• Guide data engineers, architects, and DevOps teams in implementing platform features and resolving technical challenges.</p><p>• Establish and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools like Terraform and GitHub Actions.</p><p>• Implement observability tools to monitor platform health, performance, and cost efficiency.</p><p>• Act as the primary liaison between data engineering, analytics, infrastructure, and business teams to meet user needs.</p><p>• Oversee health checks, performance monitoring, and capacity planning for data platforms.</p><p>• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of platform-related issues, including data pipeline failures.</p><p>• Define and enforce support procedures, escalation paths, and SLAs for operations.</p><p>• Act as a point of contact for data consumers and engineering teams to resolve platform-related queries.</p><p>• Maintain operational documentation, including runbooks and platform configurations.</p><p>• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across integrated systems.</p><p>• Track and manage defects found during testing, coordinating with engineering teams for resolution.</p><p>• Monitor integration processes for smooth operation and data flow.</p><p>• Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as updating configurations and optimizing performance.</p><p>• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure stability and reliability of integration environments.</p><p>Requirements :</p><p>• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</p><p>• Over 8 years of experience in designing and implementing data solutions for complex financial systems, focusing on Microsoft Azure, with minimum 6 years of experience in integration design, build, test, and deployment phases, preferably in financial services.</p><p>• Proven track record in building scalable data platforms using cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP).</p><p>• Hands-on experience in designing data models and implementing data governance frameworks.</p><p>• Experience selecting and integrating tools like Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.</p><p>• Demonstrated success in leading data platform delivery from concept to production.</p><p>• Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders.</p><p>• Experience implementing automated deployment pipelines using tools like Terraform and Azure DevOps.</p><p>• Experience setting up observability frameworks for platform health and performance.</p><p>Preferred Skills :</p><p>• Relevant Oracle Integration Cloud or Oracle Fusion certifications.</p>
