Mobile App Developer (Vibe Coding) [STEM Internship 2026]

This is a STEM Internship position [HKU/CUHK/UST/POLY/CITYU/HKBU/EDUHK/HKMU/LU]

• Practice "Vibe Coding" using Cursor, Windsurf, etc. AI-driven code editors, efficiently produce executable mobile application prototypes through natural language instructions, and accelerate the development iteration process.

• Based on Flutter, React Native or Kotlin Multiplatform framework, develop and maintain cross-platform iOS/Android applications, ensuring functional consistency and performance stability.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to accurately translate Figma design drafts into high-fidelity, interactive interfaces, and make good use of AI tools to assist with layout optimization and responsive adjustments.

• Integrate backend RESTful API and third-party services (including Firebase, Supabase, and LLM APIs), complete data integration, error handling, testing and validation, and performance tuning.

• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and code reviews, write clear technical documentation, and continuously optimize development habits and engineering practices under the guidance of a mentor.

• Enrolled or about to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Software Engineering or related fields; fresh graduates or students majoring in STEM are welcome to apply.

• Have a basic understanding of mobile app development, familiar with at least one cross-platform framework (such as Flutter or React Native) or native language (Dart/JavaScript/Kotlin) is preferred.

• Embrace AI assistance in developing new paradigms, with basic programming logic and problem-solving thinking, and able to effectively express technical needs and goals through natural language.

• Have good writing and communication skills in Chinese and English, be able to participate in team collaboration and technical discussions in Cantonese and English; familiar with Figma basic operations as a plus.
