Programmer

Location: On-site (Hong Kong)

Employment Type: Secondment (12-month contract)

Position Summary

We are looking for a Programmer with strong front-end development skills and solid experience in web application development to join our team on a secondment basis. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of hands-on experience in software development and a good understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web-based applications using modern front-end technologies
Collaborate with the development team to implement system features and functionality
Participate in system design, coding, testing, and documentation
Work closely with stakeholders to understand user requirements and deliver quality solutions
Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices are met throughout the development cycle
Support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of applications

Requirements

Degree or above in Computer Science or related disciplines
Minimum 4 years’ hands-on experience in web application or software development
Proficient in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, React.js
Solid experience in MS SQL and C# .Net
Experience in RESTful API, Git, and working across the full SDLC is an advantage
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese
