Job Description
1. Business Opportunity Development
Actively gain insights into the telecommunications industry in Hong Kong, identify key/potential customers, and be capable of finding key decision-makers and identifying customers' needs. Use customers' language to initiate conversations, build customer trust, explore product and technology requirements, and formulate solid business opportunities. Regularly contact existing and potential customers to gather critical information such as customers' business plans and budgets, supplier status, organizational structure, and technical environment. Maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels, and establish long-term business and technical partnerships with customer CXO or CXO-D to secure key support.
2. Product and Technology Empowerment
Based on an understanding of the customer's industry and business background, assist customers in comprehending the technical value of Alibaba Cloud products like the Feitian Cloud Computing Operating System, the Seven Big Pieces, AI/Intelligent Computing, and their unique competitive advantages compared to competitors, while highlighting Alibaba Cloud's role as the ideal partner for customers. Independently present Alibaba Cloud's standard product solutions to customers, or with the assistance of a Sales Advisor (SA), clearly communicate the competitiveness of Alibaba Cloud's product solutions and their business value to customers.
3. Decision-Making Facilitation and Business Opportunity Transformation
Utilize effective resource integration to aid customers in making better decisions, adopting and continuing to utilize Alibaba Cloud products and technical solutions, thereby continuously generating value for customers. Employ a series of sales strategies, including persuasive communication and business negotiations, to convert business opportunities into tangible projects, achieving mutual benefits for customers. Provide feedback on issues affecting customer experiences, assisting in improving our products/solutions.
4. Business Support
Offer comprehensive business support throughout the entire lifecycle of the customer relationship, integrating resources from various sources to ensure successful project execution.
Position Requirements
Over 7 years of experience in B-to-B sales or presales roles, with preference given to those with public cloud experience. Possess extensive experience in selling software products, particularly a preference for Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) products. Independently engage with senior executives (C-level) to conduct effective business and technical communications. Understand customer business and digital transformation needs, diagnose technical challenges within specific business contexts, and propose competitive solutions. Control the pace of negotiations, execute independent project negotiations, and achieve targeted outcomes. Stay informed about technological advancements in the product domain, compare the features of similar products, and address common queries regarding product technology trends from partners and customers. Accurately identify and categorize key stakeholders among customers, establishing distinct communication strategies tailored to each customer. Lead the creation of a welcoming communication environment, effectively listen to others' perspectives, and articulate your views clearly. Demonstrate a high level of service consciousness, ensuring that customer issues are resolved satisfactorily, effectively helping customers overcome challenges, and guaranteeing customer satisfaction.
