AI Protein Scientist

<p>Role Description:</p> <p>Ø This is a full-time, on-site position for an AI Protein Scientist at AILSI in Hong Kong SAR.</p> <p>Ø The ideal candidate will leverage artificial intelligence techniques to design and optimize proteins, contributing to our projects in drug development and therapeutics.</p> <p>Ø The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to advance research projects.</p> <p></p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Ø Utilize AI and machine learning algorithms to design and optimize protein structures for therapeutic applications.</p> <p>Ø Conduct research projects that integrate computational modeling with experimental validation.</p> <p>Ø Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and inform protein design strategies.</p> <p>Ø Collaborate with biologists, chemists, and computational scientists to advance protein engineering initiatives.</p> <p>Ø Develop and refine computational tools for protein structure prediction and design.</p> <p>Ø Stay current with advancements in AI and protein science, applying new techniques to ongoing projects.</p> <p>Ø Communicate findings through presentations, reports, and publications in scientific journals.</p> <p></p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Ø Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, or a related field.</p> <p>Ø Strong background in protein science and experience with protein modeling.</p> <p>Ø Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.</p> <p>Ø Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).</p> <p>Ø Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.</p> <p>Ø Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</p>
