SECURITY ANALYST

Position Overview:

Join our global Cybersecurity Operations team as a Security Analyst and play a critical role in defending our digital landscape. You will be on the front lines, proactively monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber threats across our on-premises, cloud, and mobile environments. Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for a blend of proactive security maintenance and active threat response:

• Threat Detection & Incident Response: Continuously monitor security alerts from our SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other security tools to identify and investigate potential security incidents. Lead the initial response to contain and eradicate threats.
• Security System Management: Maintain the health and efficacy of key security platforms, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), endpoint protection, email security, and application whitelisting solutions.
• Vulnerability Management: Utilize scanning tools to identify vulnerabilities across our infrastructure. Partner with IT and engineering teams to prioritize and track remediation efforts, including findings from penetration tests.
• Proactive Defense: Analyze security data to identify anomalies, trends, and potential gaps in our security posture. Recommend and help implement improvements.
• Collaboration & Compliance: Work closely with security engineers, architects, and IT teams to ensure security controls are effectively implemented and aligned with company policies and compliance requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-4 years of experience in a hands-on IT or cybersecurity role.
• Practical knowledge of core security technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management tools.
• Foundational understanding of network protocols, cloud security concepts, and incident response procedures.
