System Engineer

<p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>To provide technical support in a complex infrastructure environment comprising different technology domains, including but not limited to, server virtualization, server OS, database, Storage Area Network, system monitoring, virtual desktop platform, server anti-virus, as well as backup and data protection</li><li>To perform server OS and system installation and configuration, system patching, testing and commissioning</li><li>To assist in maintaining documentation and standard operating procedures (SOP) related to supporting the infrastructure, servers, systems, applications, projects, inventory, regulatory requirements and compliance</li><li>To assist in troubleshooting and problem diagnosis, problem resolution, root cause analysis and identification, maintain and ensure quality change control</li><li>To safeguard and maintain secure, hardened servers and systems</li></ul><p></p><p><strong><u>Requirements :</u></strong></p><ul><li>Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline</li><li>Minimum 1 year’s relevant support and implementation experience in IT infrastructure or enterprise class companies</li><li>Hands-on experience in implementation and support in one or more of the following areas will be an advantage:</li></ul><p>o Virtualisation platform, e.g. VMware ESXi</p><p>o Microsoft Windows server 2022/2025</p><p>o RedHat Linux, Satellite, Ansible</p><p>o Microsoft System Centre SCCM</p><p>o SAN storage, e.g. Huawei Oceanstor Dorado</p><p>o Database server, e.g. Microsoft SQL server 2019/2022 with AG, Oracle database</p><p>o Backup tool, e.g. Veeam</p><ul><li>Professional qualifications on ITIL and PMP will be an advantage</li><li>Good written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese)</li></ul>
