<p><strong>Duties include:</strong></p><ul><li>Effective execution of Civil Aviation Department (CAD) system operations and maintenance support, installation, testing and debugging work.</li><li>Lead a small team in fault diagnosis, provide improvement plans and investigation reports.</li><li>Ensure that the maintenance program complies with CAD/International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards.</li><li>Ensure high reliability and availability of communication services, in accordance with ICAO / CAD specifications.</li><li>During the shift, ensure team members are familiar with the system recovery process to maintain the lowest possible air traffic control system service interruption.</li><li>In case of multiple system failures, optimize and prioritize resource allocation to minimize the impact on overall air traffic control services.</li><li>Manage and allocate resources in the most cost-effective way.</li><li>Through technical problem analysis, propose suggestions to improve system availability.</li><li></li><li>By analyzing consumable trends and delivery cycles, maintain sufficient spare parts inventory.</li><li>Report the overall condition of each site to CAD and represent CAD in accepting the contractor's maintenance work.</li><li>Continuously acquire relevant technical knowledge to provide high-quality services and professional advice.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Personnel requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Education / professional qualifications and work experience</strong></p><ul><li>Hold one or more of the following university degrees or advanced diplomas:<ul><li>Electronic Engineering</li><li>Electrical Engineering</li><li>Telecommunications Engineering</li><li>Computer Engineering</li><li>Software Engineering</li><li>Information Technology</li><li>Industrial Engineering</li><li><br><strong>And:</strong></li><li>At least 6 years of experience in operating and maintaining large electronic devices/systems, with at least 3 years in a management position<br><strong>Or:</strong></li><li>At least 8 years of experience in operating and maintaining international airport air traffic control (ATC) systems</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge / Professional skills</strong></p><ul><li>Familiar with the following fields:<ul><li>Electronic and radio technology of air traffic control systems</li><li>Information and communication technology, including VHF, microwave communication, data communication, etc.</li></ul></li><li>Have team management and leadership skills</li><li>Have good team spirit, customer-oriented thinking, open attitude, proactive, result/service-oriented, total quality management and safety awareness</li><li></li><li>Able to work independently under pressure, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment, and delivering high-quality work within a short time</li><li>Must have excellent English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills; those who understand Mandarin are preferred.</li><li>Preference will be given to those with a driver's license</li><li>Shift work and/or irregular hours, including overnight, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, may also require outdoor work</li><li>Those with less experience will be considered for assistant engineer positions</li></ul>
