Full job description

Job Description:

• To assist in designing and determining contents to be used mainly for HK GOV Unit
• To assist in designing contents for posts to be put on internal and external websites, social media, video channels and signage with the collaboration of HK GOV Unit ;
• To assist in video production with a view to upholding positive and professional image of the HK GOV Unit ;
• To maintain an orderly registry of tapes, technical, electronic and audio-visual equipment and recommending purchase of replacement items;
• To assist in video production work at television studios and on-location video shooting;
• To undertake audio-visual projects, including camera operation ; and
• To perform any other duties as directed by the senior officers in the HK GOV Unit.
• To provide training to HK GOV staff to use the video and photographic equipment
  Requirement

1. Hold a Hong Kong bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in the disciplines of Media Design / Communication Design / Creative media / Public Relations and Advertising Design;

2. At least 3 years of full time post-qualification / extensive working experience in creative industry field.

3. It would be preferred but not necessary, if you have relevant qualifications and licenses to operate respective tools like advanced training and pass assessment by Civil Aviation Department’s approved training organisation; and attain advanced rating.Order (Cap 448G)

4. Proficient in software applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere and After Effect or Final Cut Pro.

5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to be a good team player with creativity and dynamism, attentive to details

6. Capable to multi-task and meet tight deadlines and work under pressure;

7. Capable to plan, execute and manage projects independently to achieve the communications goals;

8. Capable to understand user requirements and illustrate the workflow by creating a user interface prototype;

9. Adaptable to an environment of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity.
