RECEPTIONIST/TRANSLATOR

<p>The Consulate General of Bangladesh, Hong Kong is inviting applications for the post of <strong>Receptionist/Translator</strong> <strong>(Local Based*)</strong> subject to the following conditions of the vacant post:</p><p><strong>Vacancy : 01</strong></p><p><strong>Position : Receptionist /Translator</strong></p><p><strong>Application Deadline : 29 August 2025; 05:00 PM</strong></p><p><strong>Job Nature : Full-time<u>Job Description/Responsibility:</u></strong></p><p>a) Handle all phone calls with greetings in a professional way and connect internal staffs to external bodies/organizations/companies as per need.</p><p>b) Maintain all types of records related to front desk and preparation of consular reports.</p><p>c) Mail management including courier, office/consular document collection, and dispatching of letters (both incoming and outgoing).</p><p>d) Any other work as & when required under the supervision of the Head of Mission.</p><p><strong><u>Terms and Conditions:</u></strong></p><p>a) Age 23 to 55 years.</p><p>b) At least graduation or equivalent degree from any discipline.</p><p>c) At least 1 year related experience will be given preference.</p><p>d) A strong command of Languages both in <strong>English and Cantonese </strong>is Mandatory <strong>(Reading, Writing and Speaking). </strong></p><p>e) Computer literacy particularly in MS-office and E-mail Communications.</p><p>f) Should be smart, punctual, hard working, motivated & well groomed with pleasant personality.</p><p><strong><u>Note:</u></strong></p><p>a) Only hard copy of CV with a cover letter addressing the Consul General, Consulate General of Bangladesh, Hong Kong SAR should be submitted to the following address before the deadline.</p><p><strong>Address:</strong> 24/F, SUP Tower, 75-83 King’s Road, North Point, Hong Kong</p><p>b) Two copies of passport size photographs (recently taken), photocopies of academic certificates and copy of <strong>HK Permanent Identity Card</strong> are needed to be attached with the application.</p><p>c) Short listed candidates will be contacted for the language test and interview.</p><p>d) The probation period for the post will be 01 (One) year. Subject to satisfactory performance, the authority may renew the contract. After one (01) year completion of service, the employee will get benefits as per the rules of Bangladesh Government for the local based staff recruitment.</p><p>e) The authority reserves the right to amend/modify/ cancel the circular.
