Travel Agency _Account Officer

Job Title: Travel Agency Accounting Officer (Account Officer of Travel Agency)

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for daily accounting, including bank reconciliation, accounts receivable and payable reconciliation, invoice preparation, and general ledger entry

• Assist in pushing forward monthly and annual closing processes, assist in compiling trial balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and asset and liability statements, etc. financial statements

• Support internal audit preparation work, sort out relevant vouchers and data, and ensure accounting compliance and integrity

• Process travel industry-specific accounting items, such as group tour fee income confirmation, supplier amount calculation, etc.

Requirements:

• Must have 3 years or more of travel industry accounting practical experience

• Proficient in accounting software (ABSS/MYOB), and able to flexibly use Excel for data analysis, formula modeling, and report integration

• Hold a Hong Kong secondary school diploma (HKCEE/HKDSE) or above, or have a relevant diploma/qualification such as accounting and management

• Proficient in Cantonese, able to communicate and understand financial documents in English; Mandarin ability is an added bonus

• Have good numerical sense and attention to detail, responsibility, and demonstrate good team spirit and interpersonal interaction skills

Salary and benefits:

• Five-day work week, with work hours generally from (Monday to Friday) 09:30 to 18:30
