BI Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, developing, and implementing BI reports, dashboards, and data models tailored to client needs.
• Work closely with clients to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and conduct detailed data analysis to generate valuable insights.
• Develop clear and engaging visualizations in Power BI or Tableau that effectively communicate findings and support data-driven decision-making.
• Organize and structure data from various sources into scalable and efficient data models to underpin analysis and reporting.
• Acquire knowledge of client industries, offer training, and support the adoption of BI tools and solutions.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in BI, data analytics, and data engineering to continuously improve services and incorporate new tools as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a data-focused role such as aData Analyst,BI Analyst,BI Developer, orBI Consultant.
• Demonstrated expertise in turning business requirements into analytical reports and dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Hands-on experience in Power BI, including advances DAX, Power Query, and dashboard/report development.
• Strong Proficiency in Tableau, including the use of filters, calculated fields, level of Detail expressions and visualization best practices.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical clients
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a consulting environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Familiarity with Alteryx and python programming is a plus.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
